What Makes Daniel Wellington Stand Out
Daniel Wellington is a Swedish watch brand founded by Filip Tysander in 2011. Known for its sleek, minimalist design, Daniel Wellington offers timeless timepieces and accessories for young men and women.
Headquartered in Stockholm, the Daniel Wellington line has sold over 9 million watches and has become one of the fastest-growing European brands in the watch industry. DW is now widely distributed in more than 25 countries.
Back in 2011, Filip Tysander met a fascinating British man with sophisticated style and impeccable taste. He had a particular fondness for matching vintage watches with old, weathered NATO straps. It was this man – Daniel Wellington – who inspired the timeless styling of DW timepieces.
Since then, Filip has launched a full line of fun yet classy accessories for a variety of occasions.
The minimalistic and refined watch with interchangeable straps has become the trademark of the Daniel Wellington collection, which has now expanded to bracelets and rings.
Although Daniel Wellington watches are assembled in China, they are designed in Sweden and built with quartz movement made by Japanese company Miyota. For DW watches that feature leather styling, the company sources Italian leather.
How to Buy the Right Size of Daniel Wellington Rings
The most accurate way of measuring your ring size is through a measuring tape. Keep in mind that your fingers expand or contract at different times each day. As such, we recommended that you measure your finger at night when it is fully expanded. Note that your left hand is not the same as your right hand, so make sure that you are measuring the finger where you plan to wear your Daniel Wellington classic ring.
First, you must wrap the measuring tape around your finger.
Then adjust the size of the circle as you move the tape across your knuckles. The tape should fit your finger comfortably.
Lastly, write down the measurement in millimetres and find its corresponding size in our ring size guide.
